Olivia Dance
MMJ Reporter
Hello,
a bit about me:

Hi, I’m Olivia Dance — a reporter based in Baltimore, Maryland with Fox 45 News. I’m a hardworking, creative storyteller who’s passionate about covering the stories that impact local communities and bringing clarity to complex issues.

I currently report on a wide range of topics, including investigative and in-depth stories, delivering content across television, social media, and digital platforms.
Before Baltimore, I worked as a multimedia journalist at Fox 29 Buffalo, where I wrote, filmed, edited, and presented my own stories live for broadcast and online audiences.

Before Buffalo, I was a reporter at CNYCentral in Syracuse, New York, continuing to build my experience in fast-paced newsrooms and community-focused reporting.

I’m a proud graduate of the University of Alabama, where I double-majored in News Media and Communication Studies. While in college, I interned at WVUA 23 News, gaining hands-on experience in production, editing, and on-air reporting. I also interned with Fox News in New York City in 2018.

I was born and raised in Maryland, just outside of Washington, D.C., and my love for television began early — filming myself as a kid pretending to be a news anchor or talk show host. That passion was cemented in middle school when I appeared in a nationally aired commercial. Being on set and seeing myself on TV confirmed what I already knew: I love being on camera, connecting with people, and telling stories that matter.
