Olivia Dance

My name is Olivia Dance and I am currently a Reporter in Baltimore, Maryland for Fox 45 News! I am hardworking, creative, and passionate about telling the stories that impact my community.

 

Prior to Baltimore, I was an MMJ Reporter for Fox 29 Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. There I would write, film, edit, and present my stories live for TV, social media, and the web.

I have covered a variety of stories and often do investigative reporting. Prior to working in Buffalo, I was a reporter for CNYCentral in Syracuse, New York.

I graduated from the University of Alabama where I was a double major in News Media and Communication Studies.

During my time in college, I interned at WVUA 23 News where I began in production and editing. I was also a student reporter at the station where I got two years of on-air experience. I also interned for Fox News in New York City in 2018.

I was born in Maryland, right outside of Washington D.C. My interest in television began at a young age when I would film myself pretending to be a news anchor or talk show host.

When I was in middle school I appeared in a credit card commercial that played on several different stations. Being on the commercial set and then watching the commercial on TV, really reassured me that I loved being on camera. I have a passion for making people smile and I am very social. I love keeping up with the news and telling stories.
